If you are a new Spa-goer and have some questions, please feel
free to ask any of our spa professionals. We’ve also included
some answers below to frequently asked questions.
How early should I arrive? If you would like to take advantage of our personal steam showers, pool or hot tub before your services, then we suggest arriving 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment. If you are coming just for services and it’s your first visit to Spirit, please allow 15 minutes to fill out any information prior to you treatment.
Please note that if you are late
for your appointment, we will likely need to complete the service
in the allotted time in consideration of the next guest.
Do I have to change before
my treatment? If you are having more than one facial or body service, we recommend that you change into a robe for your comfort and convenience. Our locker room is equipped with personal care amenities, towels, robes and slippers to make your visit very relaxing and enjoyable.
What should I wear during
the service? If you are having a face or body treatment,
it is your choice to disrobe entirely, or to wear your undergarments
or bathing suit. Our staff is trained in draping to ensure your
privacy at all times.
Do I have to talk during my
treatment? We will take your cue. If you are looking for
rest and relaxation and don’t wish to hold a conversation,
that is perfectly fine. If you wish to chat or learn more about
your treatment, we are happy to oblige.
I want to start a skin care
routine. How do I choose a facial? If it is your first
facial at Spirit, we recommend booking a Get Fresh facial, which
includes a skin analysis. From there your esthetician will determine
the right treatment for your skin.
What if I forgot to book an
add-on service with my facial? Can I ask in the room? Please
feel free to ask your practitioner for this service and if she
or he has time, they will do their best to accommodate you, otherwise
they will be sure to find an appointment at a sooner-than-later
date.
Can I apply make-up after
my facial? In most cases yes but it’s a good idea
to check with your esthetician. Our change room provides you with
everything you need to do your make-up and hair.
Should I tip? If you
are satisfied with your service, then gratuities are appreciated.
Tips usually range from 15-20% of the cost of the service.
Can I book treatments if I’m
pregnant? Most treatments are wonderful for pregnant women
but there are a few that are not recommended. Our staff will be
happy to advise you on appropriate services.
Can I ask my therapist to
make adjustments if I don’t like something or it is uncomfortable?
Absolutely! Our job is to make you as relaxed and comfortable
as possible so you can enjoy all the benefits of our treatments.
We will likely ask you but please don’t hesitate to speak
up.
