Winter Beauty Trends with Amie  

Go bold this winter with these make-up trends.

Metallic Eyeshadow    Shades of gold and silver add drama for a great night out. You can dab a metallic shade on the center of the eyelids with a smokey eye for a two-tone effect.

Smokey Eye    Whether using a black, charcoal shade or jewel tone colors (plum, emerald, sapphire) this look never goes out of style. Pair with a nude lip to keep your dramatic eyes the focus.

Cat Eye    This is a classic look you can put your own spin on - try it using a black shade or something unexpected like turquoise, gold or purple. Liquid, gel or cream liners work best to achieve the perfect cat eye.

Lashes    This season - the longer the better. It's all about super feminine eyes like Brigitte Bardot or Zooey Deschenel. Volumnizing mascara, lash curler, false lashes or lash extensions make this look possible.

Red Lips    Glossy or Matte, a hot red lip is a winter must. Poppy, cherry or a deep merlot shade will compliment most complexions. Keep the rest of your make-up simple as lips should be the focus.
