Spirit Spa COVID-19 Protocols

Spirit Spa is a member of the Cosmetology Association of Nova Scotia and the Massage Therapists Association of Nova Scotia, and we are following the strict guidelines that have been established by our associations along with public health. The safety of our guests, our team and our community is our top priority. The Spirit experience will be a little different, please be patient with us as we implement and update procedures to protect everyone.

What we are doing

  •  

    Our spas have been completely cleaned and sanitized and will be maintained with hourly and daily cleaning checklists.

  •  

    We have clearly marked our spa to allow for social distancing.

  •  

    There will be a limited number of employees at one time and we have removed any work stations that are not socially distant from each other.

  •  

    Our team is wearing protective masks, gloves and face shields where required. Plexiglass shields have been installed for additional protection.

  •  

    Our team will wash and sanitize their hands before every service and between clients.

  •  

    Our team has completed training in our COVID-19 policy and procedures and have received additional certification in sanitation practices.

  •  

    We use medical grade disinfectant for sanitizing all of our tools and implements before and after each service. All disposables are safely thrown away.

  •  

    All team members will be asked to stay at home if feeling ill.

  •  

    Our team is very excited to see you, however we will be refraining from any hugs or handshakes at this time.

What we are asking our guests to do

    Please wear a mask or one will be provided to you.

  •  

    Please sanitize your hands upon arrival and follow our check in procedure which includes completing a covid screening form each visit.

  •  

    Please wait outside the entrance of the spa until you are asked to come in for your appointment.

  •  

    Please do not enter if you are feeling ill. We are happy to reschedule your appointment.

  •  

    If you have travelled outside of the Atlantic Bubble in the last 14 days or have been in direct contact with someone who has, please reschedule your appointment for after you have completed the recommended 14 day isolation period, as per public health.

  •  

    Please respect social distancing of 6 feet wherever possible.

  •  

    Please attend your appointment alone unless you need assistance.

  •  

    Kindly leave extra bags and coats at home.

  •  

    Please use debit or credit for payment as we are not encouraging the exchange of cash at this time.
