Anna Wahlin-Stern
Anna Wahlin-Stern was born and raised in Sweden. After attending university to become a nurse, she came to Canada in 2014. Anna had the opportunity to study massage therapy and graduated from ICT Northumberland College in 2017 and has worked at Spirit Spa ever since! Anna combines her medical knowledge with a holistic and relaxing approach in her treatments. She uses a combination of Swedish massage and Suikodo techniques in her treatments and has extensive training in prenatal massage. You can find Anna at our Hollis Street location.
Anne Adams
Anne Adams graduated from ICT Northumberland College in 2004. Having always been active in sports and running, Anne feels strongly that self-care is the key to maintaining a physical lifestyle. Anne has worked in clinics and spas treating athletes, providing prenatal care and helping to improve postural imbalances. A desire to continue learning has led Anne to additional training in cupping therapy, deep tissue and pregnancy massage as well as Thai massage. Anne is also a volunteer massage therapist at The Sunshine Room for cancer patients. You can find Anne at our Hollis Street location.
Ashley MacDougall
Ashley MacDougall is from Saint John, NB but grew up in Cape Breton. She graduated from the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy in 2017 and began her career at Spirit Spa. Ashley blends deep tissue massage and trigger point work with a relaxing and comfortable massage environment. She enjoys treating the head and neck area, and specific concerns such as TMJ dysfunction and chronic headaches. Ashley has additional training in cupping therapy and enjoys following clients through their pregnancy journey as well as offering body treatments. You can find Ashley at our Hollis Street location.
Hannah Brooke Currie
Hannah was born and raised in Halifax, she graduated from Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy in 2024. She provides both clinical and therapeutic treatments, and strives to cater to every need and makes sure each patient feels comfortable, safe, rejuvenated and pampered! Hannah combines various modalities, including myofascial release, lymphatic drainage, pregnancy massage, and deep tissue techniques to create customized treatments that target both physical and emotional well-being. Hannah has additional training in cupping therapy, hot stone, and gua sha massage therapy. You can find Hannah at our Hollis street location.
Jess Rambeau
Born and raised in Cape Breton, Jess graduated with honors in 2021. Jess believes treatment starts the instant of meeting their patient and ensures a safe and comfortable space to unwind. Their passion is evident in creating a tailored therapeutic treatment to effectively approach each individual wellness goal. Jess works to educate and raise body awareness every session. When not in the spa, Jess is a lover of outdoor adventures with their golden retriever. Jess can be found at our Hollis location.
Jill Mihichuk
Jill Mihichuk’s massage career of over 20 years has allowed her the opportunity to treat a variety of concerns and explore many modalities. Jill was introduced to hydrotherapy early in her career and she continues to use these methods in her treatments today. Jill is a key member of our service development team, fueled by her desire to travel and try new treatments herself. Jill uses her training as a Pilates instructor to recommend home care exercises to her clients. You can find Jill at our Hollis Street location.
Kielly Christie
Kielly Christie relocated to Halifax from Antigonish over 20 years ago when she began working as an esthetician. In 2007 she graduated with an Honours Diploma in massage therapy and went on to work in a clinical setting providing rehabilitative and therapeutic massage. Kielly continues to add to her education with courses in craniosacral therapy, kinesis taping, TMJ Mastery, fascial stretch therapy, cupping therapy, myofascial release, structural integration and Rapid Neurofascial Reset. Leah Gallant
Leah is a Registered Massage Therapist that has been flourishing in the trade since 2020. She has training in multiple modalities of massage such as cupping, Gua Sha, and Ayurvedic Head massage. She is a calming presence whose goals are to treat other’s aches and pains with a relaxing flair. Originally from Nova Scotia, Leah loves time at the beach or curled up with a good novel. Maura Meade-Sperry
Maura Meade-Sperry has been living in Halifax for over 10 years, and is originally from Boston. She has completed massage therapy training in both Nova Scotia and Massachusetts, and loves to expand her knowledge. Maura has additional training in myofascial release and Reiki. Maura’s treatments provide a therapeutic approach with a relaxing feel. You can find Maura at our Hollis Street location.
Mike Wood
Mike Wood believes if a client learns about their body, they are better equipped to become aware of what is not only creating their pain but how to manage it. Mike recognizes he is a facilitator and encourages self-healing by attempting to create free movement and relaxation in areas influenced by injury and stress. He achieves this through various massage techniques including myofascial release learned through professional development courses with John F. Barnes. It is this theory of practice in particular that informs his treatments.
Mike is passionate about health and believes life is about balance. He regularly incorporates exercise into his routine and has set goals to incorporate other healthy lifestyle practices such as reading more, meditation, and communion with nature. Whitney Andrews
Whitney Andrews was born and raised in Nova Scotia and has a deep love for the ocean. With over 7 years of experience working in clinics and spas, Whitney offers a comforting and supportive touch during treatments, though is not afraid to work deep knots when needed. Whitney has additional training in cupping therapy, prenatal massage, deep tissue and sports massage and incorporates Thai and Hawaiian methods in her treatments. Zoe Seglins
Zoe graduated from the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy in 2021. With a University background in English and History, Zoe became an artist and a gardener. She strongly believes in the effectiveness of light touch therapy and provides deep listening techniques to each client. Zoe continues to educate herself and has trained in hot stone, and craniosacral therapy. When not at the spa, Zoe can be found exploring the philosophy of permaculture and applying it to the natural world. Zoe can be found at our Hollis location.

Aimee Hoyt
Aimee graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2022 and is an active member of MTANS. In her practice, she focuses on relaxing the nervous system by creating a safe space for her patients and using techniques that promote the body’s natural ability to heal, often blending general Swedish massage with deep tissue work. Her goal is to facilitate her patients’ journey toward holistic wellness and mind- body connection, while ensuring they feel heard, understood, and supported. Aimee’s passion for the connection between human and environmental health shapes her work as an RMT, inspiring mindful, sustainable care that harmonizes mental, spiritual, and physical wellbeing.
Amanda Crocker
Amanda Crocker is a 2005 graduate from the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy. She specializes in aromatherapy, hot stone, craniosacral and Reiki therapy. Amanda enjoys providing her clients therapeutic and deep tissue treatments while they can benefit from the sensory experience of a tranquil environment. She is passionate about hot stone massage and has developed many effective and therapeutic ways to work with alternating temperatures. Amanda Williams
Amanda is from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. She is a recent graduate of the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy and previously worked in the wellness field for 5 years as a Certified Natural Health Practitioner, Reflexologist and Reiki Master. Her path as a lifelong learner has led her to uphold the philosophy of balance through optimal health. Passionate about creating safe space, she brings mindfulness into each treatment. When she is not learning new technical skills, Amanda loves to spend time improving her own quality of life and health via walks in nature, mediating, dancing, and spending quality time with friends and family. Amanda can be found at our Hydrostone location.
Amandine Quoilin
Amandine is dedicated to making healthcare more accessible and supportive for everyone. They focus on understanding and listening to patients, empowering them with education, injury prevention, and rehabilitation. They view bodywork as a way to support the nervous system through soft tissues and joints.
Originally from southern Belgium and now in Nova Scotia, Amandine has a background in Criminology and a Master’s in Cultural Management, which enriches their approach to care. Before becoming a massage therapist, Amandine was a French tutor and a self-taught potter, experiences that deepened their understanding of the body’s needs and limitations. Meeting people where they are is key to them.
Amandine graduated with honours from the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy in Halifax. Their training includes massage techniques for both relaxation and therapeutic treatment, with a focus on arthritis, invisible illnesses, hypermobility, chronic pain, and neurological symptoms. They use a range of techniques, including breath work, fascial work, muscle energy techniques, movement, and relaxation.
Fluent in French and English, Amandine is happy to converse in your preferred language and is comfortable with either she or they pronouns.

For therapeutic treatments, please be aware that a brief portion of your initial session will include assessments and relevant questions to ensure both efficiency and safety while maximizing hands-on time. For first-time visits, we recommend scheduling a session of 60 minutes or more. For follow-up visits, you can choose the duration that best meets your needs.

Allen Hall
Allen is from Newfoundland and has lived in multiple cities across Canada. He was initially drawn to massage therapy to help people mobilize their bodies and become pain free during activity. Allen enjoys using massage therapy as a preventative approach to support client’s needs in reaching short and long-term goals. Whether you are treating a dysfunction, improving a range of motion, or working with other health care professionals to obtain a specific goal, Allen is able to create a treatment plan to cater to your needs. He enjoys a therapeutic focus using fascial techniques, mobility, deep tissue, and dynamic stretching. Allen has additional training in hot stone massage. Jacob Noye
Jacob Noye is from Vancouver Island, BC. He graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2018. Jacob enjoys deep tissue treatments, cupping and the overall result of using massage to help calm the nervous system. You can find Jacob at our Hydrostone location.
Nicholas Barnes
Nicholas Barnes graduated from Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy in 2022. From a young age, Nicholas suffered from nerve damage in his face and found massage therapy to be the one thing that gave him relief. He became a great advocate and supporter of massage therapy, who enjoys working with chronic conditions and providing relief to arthritic clients. In his spare time, Nicholas is an artist who writes, draws, paints and cooks. You can find Nicholas at our Hydrostone location.
Shayla Hele
Shayla grew up in Ontario but fell in love with Nova Scotia as they pursued their education, completing a BSc in Psychology and Biology and a diploma in Massage Therapy. Shayla lives with Type 1 Diabetes since the age of 7, and the pager-like device on their hip is an insulin pump. Growing up living with Type 1 Diabetes, this led to a special interest in health and wellness. In their experience as an athlete, Massage Therapy helped them to achieve their goals and maintain physical and mental wellbeing. Their intention being that every client attain their own wellness goals, Shayla is happy to answer questions and to offer a calm and safe space for treatment. Sondra Robinson
Sondra Robinson is from Dartmouth,Nova Scotia. She graduated from massage therapy in 2005 from ICT Northumberland College and esthetics in 2007. Sondra is passionate about making people feel safe, relaxed, empowered and beautiful. She provides both therapeutic and relaxation treatments and enjoys combining both massage and esthetic treatments. Sondra’ s specialities include TMJ dysfunction, migraines and headaches and cupping therapy. You can find Sondra at our Hydrostone location. While she’s not in the spa, Sondra loves to play board games, listen to audiobooks and spend time outside with her hands in the garden or walking dogs.
Trenaya Jeffries
Trenaya is a 2023 Graduate of the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy and has also completed yoga teacher training. She takes a holistic approach to massage and incorporates myofascial release techniques, therapeutic swedish massage along with stretching & breathing techniques. Trenaya chose this career because it gives her a sense of peace and calmness. She is driven to create a safe space for clients and is thrilled to contribute to the wellbeing of others. Taylor Soper
Taylor is a senior therapist with over 10 year experience and additional training in pre and post natal massage, cupping, and deep tissue therapy. Taylor is passionate about mental health and her treatments are a balance of relaxation and therapeutic techniques to help heal the body and relax the mind. When not at the spa, you will find Taylor crocheting, reading or walking the dog.
